HOLLYWOOD, CA — After leaving this year’s Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre, Best Actor winner Michael B. Jordan headed a few blocks south to enjoy some In-N-Out.
According to reports, Jordan walked into the famously busy Sunset Boulevard location — with his Oscar statuette in hand.
The BBC published a video showing Jordan at the restaurant’s counter as a crowd of fan cheered behind him. He signed a paper hat for one of the employees and posed with his award before heading to a booth to enjoy his burger.
The actor appeared to have ordered a 3×3 — three patties and three slices of cheese.
Jordan was the latest in a line of celebrities who have enjoyed a post-awards show In-N-Out stop.
“The award show tradition is In-N-Out after the show,” Jimmy Kimmel told People in 2024. “Nothing against McDonald’s, but on award show night, it’s In-N-Out.”
After presenting an award at the Golden Globes in 2019, Julia Roberts and her husband shared some In-N-Out — and a smooch — in a photo posted on Instagram.
In a comment, Rita Wilson backed up Roberts’ dinner choice: “it’s the best post awards show stop!”
In-N-Out is also a perennial presence at one of the biggest Academy Awards events, Vanity Fair’s post-Oscars party.
The legendary party has served In-N-Out burgers since 1994. Business Insider reported the restaurant once served 1,424 burgers at the event.
Reese Witherspoon, Nick Kroll and Brie Larson are among the celebrities who have enjoyed a burger at the party.
In 2014, Olivia Wilde posted a photo of her then-fiance Jason Sudeikis grabbing an In-N-Out box from a drive-thru window for their “Post Oscars fancy feast.”
