PayPal Park is set to host the exciting weekend matchup between home side Bay FC and visiting club Angel City FC on Saturday in NWSL regular season action. The hosts opened the 2026 campaign with a visit from one of the two expansion teams this season, the Denver Summit. Alex Pfeiffer found the back of the net eight minutes into the match to put Bay FC up 1-0. Then, the Summit equalized as Melissa Kössler found the back of the net off of an assist from Janine Sonis to score the club from Denver’s first goal in its history. Finally, Joelle Anderson got herself on the scoresheet in the 30th minute to secure all three points at home for the club from the Bay.
