SAN JOSE, Calif. — One person died and several others suffered serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash in San Jose on Saturday, according to police.
The crash occurred in the area of South White Road and Lieb Court. Police began investigating and closed the area to traffic around 5 p.m.
The vehicle occupant who died was pronounced dead at the scene and several other people involved were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
All lanes of South White Road between Story Road and Lochner Drive are blocked to traffic. Drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes. Traffic will be impacted for several hours as police continue investigating.
