TUCSON, Ariz. – Freshman Kailey Yoon moved into the Top 10 in the second round of the MountainView Collegiate with a two-under par 70 to lead Long Beach State Women’s Golf on Saturday.

Yoon, a true freshman, followed up a first-round 72 with the best round of her young college career, a two-under 70 that featured no bogeys and a pair of birdies on the day.
Senior Madison Le had two birdies on the way to a 73, while Erin Lee’s eagle on the par-four fifth helped the junior finish with a 75 on the day. Alyson Sor remained second on the team on the individual leaderboard after Friday’s 71, ending the day at +4 in a tie for 43rd overall.
Long Beach State is in 11th place overall entering the final day of competition in the 16-team field. The tournament will end with a third and final round held Sunday, March 22 with live scoring available at https://scoreboard.clippd.com/tournaments/239357/scoring/team.
