Sunday Championship Update

Championship matches set across all divisions at Harding Park

The San Francisco City Championship has reached its final day at TPC Harding Park, with champions set to be crowned across every division.

After a full Saturday of quarterfinal and semifinal match play, the Men’s Championship, Women’s Championship, and supporting flights have all finalized their championship matchups heading into Sunday’s 36-hole finals.

Men’s Championship

Hayden vs. Hardy headline unexpected final

The Men’s Championship bracket has produced one of the most surprising finals in recent memory, as Joey Hayden (21) will face Will Hardy (26) for the title.

Both players navigated a deep and highly seeded field on Saturday. Hayden continued his run by defeating top qualifier Alexander Thu (1) in the semifinals, while Hardy advanced after a clutch win over Ryan Nix (3).

With both finalists emerging from outside the top 20 seeds, the championship match underscores the unpredictability of match play at Harding Park.

Women’s Championship

Pla vs. Singh set for title match

In the Women’s Championship, top seed Staci Pla (1) will meet Gianna Singh (11) in the final.

Pla has delivered a dominant performance throughout match play, while Singh has been one of the breakout players of the week, knocking off higher seeds to reach the championship match.

The pairing sets up a classic contrast between the tournament favorite and one of its biggest surprise contenders.

Venturi Flight

Grauman vs. Almajano for Venturi title

The Venturi Flight championship match will feature Ryan Grauman (9) against Matthew Almajano (15).

Both players advanced through a competitive bracket on Saturday, with Almajano delivering one of the most decisive semifinal victories of the day.

Senior Divisions

Senior and Super Senior finals set

The Men’s Senior championship will be decided between Todd Doss (13) and Bob Niger (6), two players who battled through a bracket filled with early upsets.

In the Super Senior division, Jeff Thomas (4) will face Dean Prince (10) for the title after both advanced through Saturday’s semifinal matches.

Across both divisions, experience and momentum will collide as champions are crowned Sunday afternoon.

Championship Sunday at Harding Park

After more than two weeks of qualifying and match play, the San Francisco City Championship comes down to one final day.

With finals set across all divisions, Harding Park will once again host one of amateur golf’s most demanding closing tests—where every hole matters and every match writes a new chapter in the tournament’s history.
