(KRON) — One person is dead and several others have been seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday, according to the San Jose Police Department.

In a social media post just before 6 p.m., SJPD said the collision occurred in the area of South White Road and Lieb Court.
“One involved occupant was pronounced deceased on scene, and several other occupants were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries,” police said in an update.
All lanes of South White Road have been shut down between Story Road and Lochner Drive as police investigate the scene.
“Traffic will be impacted for several hours,” police said.
