The incident was first reported around 9:49 a.m. as a solo vehicle crash involving a semi-truck pulling an Amazon trailer, just south of County Line Rd.
Authorities said the trailer became detached from the cab and struck a concrete bridge pillar just south of Delano, scattering packages and debris across all lanes.
According to the CHP Incident Page, 100 yards of debris covered the roadway and the trailer was severely compromised after hitting the overpass structure.
