Coming up on Saturday, March 28, the Milpitas Library (160 N. Main St.) will be presenting the play Julius Caesar as performed by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.

The show will run from 2 to 3pm and be followed immediately by a Q&A.

A press release put out by the Festival read, “This powerful, hour-long performance brings Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy to life through a compelling blend of drama, emotion, and political insight. Julius Caesar explores themes of ambition, loyalty, and the consequences of leadership, weaving a gripping story of intrigue and betrayal that continues to resonate with modern audiences.”

The Milpitas Library welcomes attendees to come and watch the show for free; people do not need to have tickets or make reservations. 

Julius Caesar is part of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival’s Shakespeare on Tour program, which has traveled up and down California for 35 years presenting high-quality stage performances.
