One dog died and two others were injured in a fire in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood that displaced two humans Sunday morning.
Crews responded to a blaze believed to have started in a garage on the 1200 block of Hollister Street late Sunday morning, the San Francisco Fire Department said.
Firefighters initially found one dog deceased and another injured, then later located a third dog. Both were provided care at the scene and taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment, the fire department said.
No humans were reported injured in the fire, though two people were displaced, the fire department said.
The fire was controlled shortly before noon, and the cause is under investigation.
