3 people stabbed during fight at DTLA restaurant, police say

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Three people were stabbed during a fight inside a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, according to police.

Los Angeles police responded to a call about a possible stabbing just after 5:30 p.m. at Zaya Restaurant, located at 7th Street and Olive Street.

AIR7 flew over the scene and captured video of a large first responder presence in the area.

According to LAPD, as a party at the restaurant was winding down, an argument between multiple people escalated, and three people were stabbed — two with a knife and one with a bottle.

All three victims were taken to the hospital with superficial wounds and are expected to be OK.

Police said two suspects were taken into custody at the scene, and no one is outstanding.
