Police are investigating a stabbing that left multiple people injured at a downtown Los Angeles business Sunday evening, authorities said.
Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call around 5:15 p.m. at a club located on the 500 block of West 7th Street, near the intersection of 7th and Olive streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities said a woman armed with a knife left the business after the stabbing.
At least one victim was initially reported, and officials said the suspect may have also stabbed herself before leaving the location. Ambulances were requested to respond to the scene, LAPD said.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also responded and reported patients in two separate locations, according to authorities.
According to the LAPD, four victims were transported to a nearby hospital and treated for minor wounds.
Two suspects were taken into custody and will most likely be booked on four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities did not immediately provide additional details about the incident.
