Two people were shot and killed, and another was taken to the hospital early Monday morning.
Fresno police Lt. Justin Hoagland said the shooting was reported at 1:21 a.m. near San Jose and Bond avenues following reports of multiple shots fired.
Officers arrived at the scene and found three victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Two victims were taken to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead, and the other remains in critical condition.
Hoagland said the other victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
What led up to the shooting remains unknown, Hoagland said.’
The ages of the victims have not been released, and no suspect description was available.
