Multiple people have been left injured after a potential stabbing in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, according to local reports.

Reports have said that the incident took place at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant, Zaya. The restaurant has posted on Instagram to say that “we are aware of the incident that occurred earlier today.”

“While some situations develop unexpectedly and are beyond our control, the safety of our guests and staff remains our highest priority. We are especially grateful for the swift response of our team, as well as the immediate support of local law enforcement and emergency personnel. We appreciate the patience and support of our community and look forward to moving ahead together,” the restaurant continued.

Helicopter footage of the first responders attending the scene was captured by local news outlet ABC7. The outlet reported that four people were allegedly stabbed in a fight inside the restaurant, which occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Per the outlet, citing the Los Angeles Police Department, a party was going on at the restaurant, and as it was starting to wind down, an argument broke out.

The outlet also said that two people had been stabbed with a knife, and one had been stabbed with a bottle, all of whom were transported to hospital. One person’s injuries were described as moderate, and the other two were described as minor.

The fourth person allegedly had a laceration to the neck, but ran from the scene and has not been located, the news outlet said.

Two suspects have reportedly been taken to custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
