Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka is lifting his anchor from this California home — and he’s off on a brand new adventure.

“I have now chosen to relocate to Nevada, where I used to live for many years, and I will keep a smaller home in Los Angeles,” Anka — the subject of the recent HBO Max documentary “Paul Anka: His Way” and the mastermind behind the February-released album “Inspirations of Life and Love” — told The Post in a statement.

That means he’s looking to find a new owner for this Westlake Village residence, which Anka will bring back to market on Monday for $8.99 million, The Post has learned.

Previously, the 84-year-old Canadian crooner asked a higher $10 million for the Sherwood Country Club dwelling in 2024 — but, it turned out, he wasn’t ready to let it go. Not only did he want to make some updates and customizations to the property, he also ended up using the home’s recording studio to work on that latest record.

“I did not want to disrupt my base,” added Anka. “Now that it’s finished, my focus is my tour and Broadway show, which will take over a year with writer Rupert Holmes. So it’s the perfect time for me to make the transition.”

And it’s the perfect time for a new owner to move right in. Located on Stafford Road, the villa stands on more than 6 acres — one of Sherwood’s largest lots — and overlooks the clubhouse, the greens and the surrounding mountains.

A gated driveway heads to a motor court with room for more than six cars. Heading inside, the residence opens to a two-story entry that fills with light.

Neutral tones largely adorn the interior, but the marketing images show an eye-catching collection of rare and glistening objects that line a number of walls.

“There are over 30 gold records from all over the world,” added Anka. “Including ones for songs I’ve written for or artists I’ve produced for — such as Michael Jackson, Michael Bublé, Donny Osmond, Buddy Holly and Frank Sinatra … to name a few.”

The framed records prominently line the walls of a cozy den, as well as those of an orange-colored room anchored by a grand piano.

As for Anka’s recent updates to the home, there’s a reimagined chef’s kichen, which has a massive center island and, off to another side, an eat-in space surrounded by windows. Perks additionally include a billiards room and Anka’s recording studio, which is nothing short of professional grade.

There are four ensuite bedrooms and six bathrooms. For its part, the primary suite has a fireplace, two bathrooms, two closets and a balcony overlooking the grounds.

Decorative touches include high ceilings, stone floors and designer lighting.

Outside, Anka will leave behind an exquisite infinity-edge pool, gardens, an air-conditioned glass-walled gym with an outdoor shower — as well as a fire pit lounge, room for al-fresco dining and a grilling area. They all show panoramic views of the breathtaking mountain landscape.

Overall, the gated community offers residents amenities such as its golf club and a racquet club.
