HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) — A woman is dead following a shooting in Hanford early Monday morning.
Police say it happened on Northstar Drive near Fountain Plaza Drive around 3:30 am.
Authorities were initially called out to reports of a man and woman arguing and possibly fighting before hearing gunshots.
The woman was found in the road with a gunshot wound. She was taken to Adventist Health Hanford, where she died.
Authorities have not identified the woman.
