Fresno Police Investigate Downtown Homicide at Sun Stereo Warehouse

Fresno police are investigating a fatal shooting at the Sun Stereo Warehouse on Friday night that left a 38-year-old man dead.

Officers from the Southwest Policing District responded around 11:16 p.m. to the area of Fulton and Inyo streets, where they found Meharie Kidane suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital by EMS, but was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

Detectives said several people had gathered at the venue and were escorted outside following an altercation.
