SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by possibly two vehicles early Saturday morning.
The crash was reported just after 5 a.m. near Florin Road and 24th Street. Officials say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
Police said evidence indicates the pedestrian may have been hit by two different vehicles, which both left the scene before officers arrived.
Major collision and crime scene investigators have taken over the ongoing investigation.
