SOUTHEAST FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Fire crews are investigating what caused a vacant home to catch fire in Southeast Fresno, the Fresno Fire Department says.
Crews were called out to a structure fire on East Balch Avenue near Roosevelt High School around 5 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, crews found a boarded-up home fully engulfed in flames, threatening a nearby home.
The house was evacuated and no one was injured.
Firefighters quickly defended the neighboring home, which took on very little damage.
The vacant home was completely destroyed.
