Romeo Sanabria ended his 2026 Spring Training for the San Diego Padres with a bang. He hit a grand slam home run to right-center field in the bottom of the eighth inning that put the Padres ahead of the Seattle Mariners 8-3 en route to a Cactus League win in the spring finale at the Peoria Sports Complex on Monday. Kale Fountain followed Sanabria later in the inning with a two-run home run and the Padres went on to win the game, 10-3. Kyle Hart started the game for San Diego and pitched one inning, allowing one run on two hits with a walk. He was followed by German Marquez who pitched 4.2 innings, allowing one run on four hits with two walks and eight strikeouts.
