CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A scam targeting people seeking food truck and vendor opportunities at the Clovis Rodeo is circulating online and via direct messages, according to the Clovis Rodeo Association.
The association said it has been made aware of messages claiming to offer vendor spots for the Clovis Rodeo and warned that the offers are not legitimate.
The Clovis Rodeo Association said it is currently NOT soliciting food truck vendors.

It also said all food vendors at the Clovis Rodeo are nonprofit organizations that are directly coordinated through the association’s team.
The association urged community members not to respond to the messages, send payment, or share personal information with anyone claiming to offer vendor opportunities for the rodeo outside official channels.
For accurate information, the association said people should refer only to its official website and social media pages, and contact the organization directly if they are unsure about an offer.
The Clovis Rodeo takes place April 22nd through 26th at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds. Click here to visit the Clovis Rodeo website.
