COSTA MESA, CA — A four-car crash on the 55 Freeway stalled rush-hour traffic in Orange County Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 10:19 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near 22nd Street in Costa Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash involved four vehicles, including a white van, silver hybrid, blue sedan and pick-up truck.
At least one person was injured in the crash.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area or take alternate routes.
