Los Darks Festival is set to take over Santa Ana Stadium on Saturday, March 28, bringing a mix of rock, darkwave, goth and synth-pop acts to the heart of Orange County.

As Santa Ana continues to emerge as a hub for live music festivals, particularly those rooted in Latin and alternative scenes, events like Los Darks reflect the city’s deep cultural ties and growing role as a gathering place for both legacy and rising artists. Long known for its majority Latino population and rich musical heritage, the city has increasingly become a natural home for festivals that blend genres like rock en español, goth and indie — all of which intersect in Los Darks’ lineup.

From longtime Latin rock pioneers to Orange County-rooted acts, here’s everything fans need to know before heading out.

Lineup and stage

Los Darks Festival will feature a full day of performances on a single stage, with music running from the afternoon into the evening. Headliners include Caifanes and The Growlers, joined by Johnny Marr, Twin Tribes, The Adicts, London After Midnight and Mareux.

Caifanes, formed in Mexico City in 1986, remain a defining force in rock en español, while The Growlers bring a strong Orange County connection. Originally formed in Dana Point and later based in Costa Mesa, the band built its following locally, making its appearance feel like a return to the region.

The setting adds another layer of context. Santa Ana Stadium, long used for community events and high school sports, has increasingly become a site for concerts and multi-artist festivals — reflecting both the city’s evolving live music landscape and its strong local audience.

Set times have not yet been announced. Doors open at 1 p.m., and fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch the full lineup.
