Bay Area K-pop fans will get another chance to catch South Korean girl group Twice live next year.

The “Likey” hitmakers have expanded their current world tour with a total of 17 extra dates, including a second night at Oakland Arena on Jan. 18, following their previously announced Jan. 17 concert at the venue. The group’s tour also now includes additional concerts in cities such as Orlando, Boston and Los Angeles.

Tickets for both Oakland dates are available now, while tickets for the other newly added shows go on sale at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16.

The K-pop stars are scheduled to launch the North American leg of their current tour in Vancouver on Jan. 9. During next year’s stops, for the first time ever, the group plans to perform on a 360-degree stage, which offers fans a clear view of their performance from all angles.

This month the group — composed of members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu — is celebrating its 10th anniversary. While Twice gained international momentum over the years to become one of K-pop’s leading groups, they’ve skyrocketed to new heights of mainstream fame this summer after lending its musical talents to the animated hit movie “KPop Demon Hunters.” Twice recorded versions of “Takedown” and “Strategy,” performed by other vocalists in the film, for the soundtrack.

Twice’s current tour, “This is For,” is named after its fourth Korean studio album, which debuted on the Billboard 200 charts’ top 10 upon its release in July. Shortly after, it became the first female K-pop group to headline Chicago’s Lollapalooza.

Continuing its record-setting streak, the group will make history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15 in New York City.
