A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 1:20 p.m. in the area of Meridian Avenue and Blackford Lane, according to police.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital but did not survive, police said.
It wasn’t immediately known if the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was injured.
Police said Meridian Avenue would be closed in both directions between Minnesota and Hamilton avenues for an extended period of time.
