SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Kevin Lydon shot a 2-under-par 70 on the final round of the UC San Diego Invitational to finish the three-day tournament in 11th and helping Drexel finish fourth of 17 teams. All four scoring Dragons finished under-par for the third round at the par 72, 7,258-yard Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, Calif.
John Stevenson turned in a 3-under-par 69 to climb 26 spots on the leaderboard and finish in 35th. His card featured four birdies on the front nine and just one bogey on the back nine. John Keba and Caleb Taylor each finished the tournament shooting 2-under par and tying for 20th place.
Loyola Marymount finished on top of the leaderboard, shooting 18-under par.
Drexel returns to the east coast to partake in the Columbia Spring Invitational, being hosted by Columbia at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Pa. The Dragons first tee off on March 29 and continue play on March 30.
