A California man was sentenced to prison for breaking into a woman’s home and assaulting her by licking and biting her toes as she slept.
Cristian Solorio, 28 of Modesto, was sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison for the crime, the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office announced on March 20.
In February 2025, Solorio first spotted the victim at her workplace and “immediately became obsessed with her,” prosecutors said.
He would show up at her workplace several times a day and loiter outside the front door, waiting to follow her when she left.

He asked her out several times and sent her a letter saying he wanted to take her to Mexico, court documents said. The harassment continued for several weeks.
On May 21, 2025, after discovering where the woman lived, Solorio went to her home late one night.
After the woman’s father left the home, Solorio broke in, prosecutors said. The woman woke up to find Solorio in her bedroom sucking on her toes and attempting to get into her bed.
“Although terrified, the victim managed to talk with Solorio in a friendly demeanor in an attempt to keep him calm and de-escalate his actions,” authorities said.
Other family members who were present at the home eventually went into the woman’s bedroom and demanded that Solorio leave. The man fled the area and the victim immediately called 911.
Solorio was later identified and arrested days later. He admitted to breaking into the home to contact the victim, investigators said.
On March 20, 2026, he was convicted of felony stalking and breaking into a residence with the intent to commit a sex act. He is also facing separate federal charges related to drug trafficking.
Deputy District Attorney Vita Palazuelos, who prosecuted the case, told the Modesto Bee, “I’m glad the victim came forward, and the Sheriff’s Office did a really good job tracking him down and getting him into custody.”
