REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — A jury found a woman guilty on Tuesday for performing illegal silicone buttock injections on a Kim Kardashian lookalike model and popular OnlyFans star who later died, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office in California.
Vivian Alexandra Gomez, 53, an unlicensed cosmetologist, flew to the Bay Area from Florida in April 2023 to perform the procedure at a Burlingame hotel near San Francisco International Airport.
During the procedure, Christina Ashten Gourkani, 34, became immediately ill and died of respiratory failure the next day.

Gomez was found guilty of felony involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license.
She is due for sentencing in May.
