Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have gone where few morning shows — if any — have gone before: snail sex.
Yep, on Tuesday’s episode of “Live With Kelly & Mark,” they dove into the kinky world of gastropds gettin’ it on.

During the show, the married hosts began discussing a snail named Ned, who hasn’t been having much luck in the romance department. Turns out, Ned has a rare-shaped shell that makes it difficult for him to mate, according to EW.

“Ned has a problem,” Ripa explained to the audience. “He’s having trouble finding dates because, the way his shell is tilted, it coils to the left, not the right, making him one in 40,000 snails whose sex organs don’t line up with the rest of the species.”

Currently, Tinder doesn’t have a “Snails Seeking Snails” category. So Kelly and Mark are doing their part to help find Ned a snail soulmate… or one-night-stand. “He has to find another lefty snail so he can mate!” Ripa exclaimed.

At one point during the discussion, Ripa wondered out loud, “What I want to know is, who’s the top?”
Ned the snail couldn’t be reached for comment, but Consuelos closed out the conversation with a public plea: “If you have a lefty snail, let us know and we’ll make a match.”
