BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County is seeing a historic choice in leadership for a local organization as we celebrate Women’s History Month.

Business Owner Natesha Johnson has been elected as chair of the Kern County Fair Board, making her the first African American to hold the position.

She is inspiring future generations of leaders by breaking barriers and creating better representation in our community.

Johnson joined ARC Bakersfield to share her story and what she hopes to accomplish.
