Pickleball is still allowed at La Rinconada Park in Los Gatos. 

The pickleball courts at the park are getting a $90,000 renovation, with completion slated for December. The goal is to ease tensions between residents who live near the park and pickleballers creating court noise. Plus there has been vandalism. Oil was left on two of the four courts making them unusable.​

The improvements to the courts include resurfacing, installing sound barriers and enhanced security features, such as time-sensitive locks and surveillance cameras.
