On March 25, 2026, Michelin announced six Los Angeles restaurants, as well as one Montecito, California contender, as new additions to its California Michelin Guide. The spring guide update typically precedes a larger Michelin star-awarding ceremony in June, although the tire company has not yet announced dates for its 2026 ceremony.

New Southern California additions to the Michelin Guide California in 2026 include Corridor 109, a delicate, seafood-focused tasting menu restaurant from longtime Angeleno chef Brian Baik; Firstborn, the Chinese American restaurant from chef Anthony Wang that anchors Mandarin Plaza in Chinatown; Lapaba, the new pasta bar in Koreatown from husband-and-wife team Matthew Kim and McKenna Lelah that interprets Italian classics through a Korean lens; Little Fish Melrose Hill, the full-service restaurant from chefs Anna Sonenshein and Niki Vahle that began as a pop-up and popular market restaurant in Echo Park; Lugya’h by Poncho’s Tlayudas, the inviting tlayudas counter within Maydan Market from chef Alfonso “Poncho” Martinez and his wife–business partner Odilia Romero; and Zira Uzbek Kitchen, a Fairfax debut from owner Azim Rahmatov that serves Uzbek and Central Asian dishes such as beef and chicken shashlik, kavurma lagman (hand-pulled noodle stir-fry), and pumpkin or steak manti (dumplings).
