Four people were shot Wednesday evening in Sacramento’s Central Oak Park neighborhood and have been taken to hospitals, police said.

Officers responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the 3300 block of Ninth Avenue, Sacramento Police Department spokesperson Officer Anthony Gamble said.

Arriving authorities found four victims of the shoooting, one of whom is approximately 4 years old, Gamble said.

“All victims have been transported to area hospitals and preliminarily all are in stable condition,” Gamble said.

No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
