A routine morning at a Panera Bread in Fresno was interrupted Thursday morning when a car suddenly crashed into the building.

Officers responded at 9:01 a.m. at Shaw and Marty avenues when a driver had parked in a stall along the east side of the building mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.

Police said the car jumped forward, smashing into a window on the east side of the restaurant.

No one inside or outside the building was hurt.

Police said the damage was limited to the vehicle and the building’s window.

Panera remained open but was limited to drive-thru service.
