My Morning Jacket is coming to San Francisco.

And the acclaimed rock act is planning to stick around for a while.

My Morning Jacket has just announced a really cool seven-night run at the legendary Fillmore. No, that’s not a typo — the group is truly planning to play seven shows at the San Francisco hotspot.

“The Fillmore. Anyone who knows us knows what a sacred place this is to the band and to music in general. All of the history. All of the legends. All of the peace, love, and mind-blowing music created by so many artists within those hallowed walls over so many years,” My Morning Jacket’s Jim James says in a news release. “We are so honored to be even a small part of its wondrous history and are so thrilled to be coming back again – for seven nights! We look forward to laughing, dancing, and singing together while celebrating every color of the rainbow and all of the beauty, diversity, and magic in this wild, wonderful world! Can’t wait to see you there!”

The My Morning Jacket Fillmore dates are October 3-4, 6-7 and 9-11.

These are the group’s only scheduled headline dates in 2026.

The seven shows will each by “individually inspired by the colors of the rainbow,” according to a news release.

“Fans are encouraged to dress according to each night’s theme color,” the release continues. “In addition, the residency will be broken up into separate blocks of two and three-night runs, with no repeats played during each block.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. April 3, www.mymorningjacket.com/tour. There are also presale opportunities, including one for My Morning Jacket’s One Big Family (sign up for a presale code at mymorningjacket.com/apps/single/membership#/join).
