SACRAMENTO (WIS) – Team WIS is on the West Coast and getting set to cover the South Carolina women’s basketball team in the NCAA Tournament.
Rick Henry, Judi Gatson, Julia Westerman and photographer Devon Jennings’s journey to Sacramento, California, was documented in a vlog, which can be watched above this story.
The Gamecocks, in their 14th straight tournament appearance, advanced to the Sweet 16 with dominant wins over Southern and Southern California last weekend.
Next up for South Carolina is Oklahoma on Saturday in Sacramento. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN.
The winner will face either Virginia or TCU in the next round, scheduled for Monday.
