A preliminary magnitude 4.1 earthquake shook the Ludlow in San Bernardino County on Friday afternoon, according to the USGS.
The quake occurred around 3:15 p.m. just north of Interstate 40, roughly 35 miles east of Barstow and 52 miles northwest of Twentynine Palms.
The shaking was not widely felt, but dozens of residents in Barstow, Victorville, and Hesperia reported feeling the minor quake, according to the USGS.
