Red Curtain Addict, an arts discovery platform, will present its second annual Bay’s Stage Arts Soirée, boasting special guests from some of the region’s beloved organizations.
Hosted at Market Street hotspot Local Edition on Thursday, April 9, this one-night-only event will span dance, opera, symphony, jazz, chorus and theater. Expect performances by the San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, Healdsburg Jazz Festival, Opera Parallèle and San Francisco Philharmonic. The Transcendence Theatre Company will also present a Broadway-style musical theater act.
The afterparty will include a set by Radio Gatsby.
“This soirée is about bringing the full spectrum of our arts community into one room,” said Red Curtain Addict founder and CEO Kari Lincks Coomans in a statement. “When you experience these organizations side by side, you see not only the talent, but the collective impact they have on the identity and energy of this city.”
Food will be provided by chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, his restaurant at the Westin St. Francisco, with cocktails by The Eighth Rule, the adjacent bourbon bar created in partnership with Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.
