Officers were dispatched to Third and Harrison streets at 11:12 p.m. Friday and found a man wounded by gunfire, according to a San Francisco Police Department news release. The officers tried to help the victim, who later died at a hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name or other information on him.
Two other people were assaulted during the incident and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
