Anthony (Tony) Morgante
OBITUARY
Tony Morgante passed away peacefully at his home in Chula Vista at the age of 95. Born in Buffalo, NY, Tony was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Pat. He worked as an electrical engineer at Rohr and was a passionate sports fan, especially devoted to the San Diego Chargers. His love for the game went beyond the stands–he served on the team’s chain crew for many years. He also gave back to his community as a football referee, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. Tony lived an active life well into his later years. He enjoyed biking and played in a softball league into his early 90s. He is survived by his four children: Rocco, Tony, Guy, and Anna Marie and their spouses; his grandchildren: Lauren, Paul, Anthony, Aaron, Rayce, Molly, and Sarah; and three great-grandchildren.
