Justin Rudd’s Community Action Team on Sunday proved that every bunny, er, everybody, can make a difference.
The team launched a one-day volunteer effort to put together again 2,400 gender-neutral baskets — for kids age 4-12 — at Bay Shore Community Congregational Church in Long Beach. Scores of volunteers of all ages showed up to land a hand and fill those baskets.
The baskets will be distributed though April 5 at low-income schools in the Long Beach area.
