SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police arrested a 19-year-old for murder on Saturday.
Late Friday night, police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 3rd Street and Harrison Street. At the scene, officers said they found a man lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said they also found two other victims at the scene who were not shot.
Throughout the investigation, homicide detectives found reason to arrest Edwin Depaz Maldonado, 19, of Richmond and Andy Segura Giron, 20, of San Rafael.
Police charged Maldonado with murder, and resisting arrest. Officers charged Giron with assault likely to produce great bodily injury. Both suspects were booked into the San Francisco County Jail.
