A dozen teenagers ransacked a Chevron gas station in Sacramento, under the eyes of an employee, on Thursday evening, March 19.

Surveillance footage from Power Inn Chevron shows a dozens youths entering the store and scattering through it, as a worker watches.

Store manager Shailesh Chand told KCRA the group “came in the store and started messing up with the goods, throwing things here and there and grab whatever they can grab.”

The only worker present that night, who appears in the surveillance footage, called 911 for assistance shortly after 8 pm, but the police “never arrived.”

According to KCRA, the Sacramento Police Department stated that at the time of the call, officers were responding to a related disturbance involving juveniles in the 200 block of Bicentennial Circle.
