A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in Fresno early Saturday, police said.
Officers responded to the scene at Hughes and Weber avenues at 3:40 a.m. and found a pedestrian lying on the roadway.
The officers performed life-saving measures, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead.
The department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating. Police do not have a vehicle description.
