Snoop Dogg will be “Back On Da Blocc” on the West Coast to headline the Long Beach Amphitheater’s grand opening celebration this summer
Snoop Dogg will return to the city that raised him to headline the grand opening celebration of the Long Beach Amphitheater on June 6, marking a milestone for the city’s live entertainment scene.
Designed to host a wide range of performances, the Long Beach Amphitheater aims to bring diverse talent from around the world to Long Beach, spanning genres from hip-hop to country. Snoop Dogg, a globally recognized artist with deep West Coast roots, reflects both the venue’s local pride and its broader vision, making him a fitting choice to headline the amphitheater’s debut celebration.
“This venue will be built to honor the city’s creative spirit, and there’s no better artist to launch that mission,” said Tra Jones, general manager of Long Beach Amphitheater for Legends Global.
Joining the amphitheater’s stage following Snoop Dogg are well-known names like Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Luke Bryan and Mötley Crüe, artists who reflect the venue’s commitment to bringing a wide array of live music to Long Beach.
Set to be the city’s first open-air music venue, the Long Beach Amphitheater will feature downtown city views from the Pacific coast waterline. The venue will function as both a community gathering space and a venue for private or corporate events.
“Long Beach built the culture – and now we’ve built the stage for it,” Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson said. “The opening of the Long Beach Amphitheater is a defining cultural moment and a historic homecoming.”
Tickets for the Long Beach Amphitheater’s grand opening will be available at LongBeachAmphitheater.com or Ticketmaster.com.
Artist presale will begin Wednesday, April 1 at 10 a.m. Venue presale will kick off on Thursday, April 2 at 10 a.m. General on sale opens Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
