FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Firefighters are making progress on several fires burning in Fresno County, including the Pin Fire, which is producing visible smoke.
Officials say three separate fires associated with the Pin Fire have burned about 10 acres near Millerton and Friant roads, just east of the Pincushion area, a popular hiking trail.
Authorities say no structures are threatened.
Crews are also working to contain a small vegetation fire near Friant and Shepherd roads. That fire is being handled by Fresno fire crews.
Firefighters will continue to work on containment efforts as the incidents remain active in the area.
