Street racing bust in Fresno ends with 13 cars towed and 60 tickets

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno Police towed 13 cars and issued 60 tickets during an illegal street racing bust on Sunday.

Several calls about racing, speeding, reckless driving, and revving engines were reported.

Officers quickly went to the area where they stopped several cars that were trying to leave the area or driving recklessly through neighborhoods.

The results of the operation included

60 citations issued13 vehicles towed (including five 30day impounds)8 misdemeanor citations2 DUI arrests
