FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Police are looking for a man connected with an apartment shooting that killed a man and injured another.
Police responded to an apartment complex in the area of Barstow Avenue and Blackstone Avenue after reports of a shooting on March 15th.
When they arrived, they found 32-year-old Shannon Ivory in the carport suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, and a second victim, a 22-year-old man, was found on an upstairs landing with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Officers and EMS personnel provided first aid to both victims before transporting them to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The 22-year-old victim was listed in stable condition.
Despite life-saving measures, Ivory died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives learned that both victims arrived at the location, and a disturbance began between them and another resident of the apartment.
During the disturbance, an unknown man associated with the other resident brandished a firearm and fired several shots at both victims.
Detectives identified 21-year-old Jaime Martinez as the person responsible for the shooting.

Martinez remained outstanding, and a murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.
