Buck Owens Productions KUZZ Bakersfield, CA (107.9/550) has partnered with Dewar’s Ice Cream shops for an April fundraiser benefiting the Wounded Heroes Fund, a Kern County veterans service organization. The red, white and blue “KUZZ Sundae” — featuring blue vanilla ice cream, strawberries and marshmallow — will be available at all Dewar’s locations throughout the month, with all proceeds going to the nonprofit.
“It’s limited-time, it’s ridiculously good, and it actually makes a difference,” the station posted on Facebook.
The Wounded Heroes Fund provides financial assistance, food programs and support services to Kern County veterans and their families. Dewar’s, a family-owned Bakersfield institution since 1909, operates multiple locations in the market.
