BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Families looking for an outdoor spring break activity can head to CALM Zoo this week for its annual Spring Fling, featuring special events and activities for kids.
The Spring Fling is happening now through Saturday. Visitors can ride the zoo’s train and check out activities in the California Coast Room, along with animal presentations.
“Our train is running all week long from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. We have a California Coast Room, where you can get your hands wet in our touch tank. We got very lucky with some amazing weather [this week], ” said Elizabeth Graff, Volunteer and Community Engagement Facilitator at CALM.
CALM’s Spring Fling ends on April 4.
