BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Highway Patrol Bakersfield area is set to host a Start Smart class for teen drivers and their parents on Tuesday.
The class is set for April 7 at 6 p.m. at the CHP Bakersfield Office located at 9855 Compagnoni Street.
The class will discuss safe driving habits, consequences of poor choices and tips on how to avoid a crash.
The class is free but space is limited and at least one parent must accompany the student, according to CHP. Call the CHP office at 661-396-6600 to register.
